Swedish "Prydno" bookshelf in teak by Bröderna Gustafsson Möbelfabrik

Made by Bröderna Gustafsson Möbelfabrik in Sweden during the 1950s-60s, model "Prydno". Four teak shelves carried on black lacquered steel uprights that finish in brass caps, with brass fittings holding each shelf at its height. The teak has been sanded and oiled by our team and the metalwork cleaned, leaving a wall unit that looks light but takes a long run of books. At 208 cm wide it stands on the floor rather than hanging, and it suits a full living room wall.
